Alicia has been active in the Central Florida real estate market since 2000. She currently provides in-house counsel as well as managing Schoolfield Properties, Inc’s commercial real estate portfolio. She works closely with clients who own or lease the space they occupy to identify and implement strategic solutions designed to streamline the operation of their facilities and improve operational and financial performance. In addition, Alicia specializes in meeting the space needs of national, local, and governmental tenants. She has leased over 500,000 square feet of retail, office, medical, and industrial space for Schoolfield Properties, Inc. She is responsible for lease negotiations, lease renewals, market analysis, vacant land and existing structure acquisition, and disposition.
Alicia is also well versed in project management of both interior build outs and new construction. Her most notable projects include the project management of Blackberry Creek a 20,000 sq. foot flex use building in Saint Cloud, Palm Plaza II a 16,000 square foot new construction building in Kissimmee, and the renovation of Mill Creek Mall in Kissimmee.
